Fight Aging With Jemma Kidd

Want more youthful looking skin? We asked Jemma Kidd for her top tips on how to fight the signs of ageing…

1. Restore skin’s natural glow:

“To revive the skin’s youthful radiance, avoid using thick foundation to disguise wrinkles and conceal discolouration; rather, opt for a tinted moisturiser, like my Mineral Skin Nourishing Tint SPF 20, and use colour correctors to target specific areas of concern.”

2. Don’t let your eyes give you away:

“Eyes tell the age of time, so take care not to overload the eye area with concealer, as not only is the skin around your eyes thinner and therefore more delicate, using too much can result in accentuating, rather than masking creases and fine lines. I would recommend either using a lightweight serum which will both brighten and hydrate the eye area - like my caffeine-induced Wrinkle Rescue & Brightener – or, if you prefer a cream based formula, the I-Rescue Bio-Complex Cover is a natural skin-tinted eye treatment, with light-diffusers to disguise dark circles, and an anti-inflammatory formulation to reduce puffiness and bags. To further brighten the eye area, follow with my anti-ageing lightweight I-Perfector Prep & Brighten Duo which you can use around the eye area as well as along the waterline for a ‘wide-eyed’ effect.”

3. Get clever with makeup:

"To create a flawless finish use crème blushes to give a flush of colour to the cheeks, and partner with a cream highlighter, like Dewy Glow All OverRadiance, to help sculpt the face and add extra luminosity – delicately position along your cheekbones, brow bones and the bridge of your nose for a ‘lit from within’ effect. "

Ever have one of those mornings where you just don’t have time to do anything? These are my instant beauty fixers that are perfect for those ‘gotta get out of the door in 5 mins’ days!

Urban Decay 24 7 Concealer Pencil – Obviously you’ve woken up far too late for a full face of makeup. Dot this pencil under eyes, on spots and round your nose and chin and blend quickly whilst choosing what to wear!

Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry shampoo – Spray through roots and leave whilst you get dressed. Then rub into hair and quickly brush out for instantly fresh hair.

Jemma Kidd Make Up School Rosy Glow Lip & Cheek Tint – Roll this onto the apples of cheeks and lips, then blend in for a natural flush.

RMK Ingenious Pencil Eyeliner – Apply 07 white to the waterline of lower lids for an instantly more awake look.

Instant Nail Art

Want beautiful nail art without the time investment, or the trip to the nail salon? Try these products for an instant nail art look – without the effort!


Nails Inc Special Effects – This new collection from Nails Inc contains spectacular 3D Glitter nail polishes, on-trend Crackle polishes plus new Glitter finish Crackle polishes!
The Crackle Polishes are simply applied over your favourite colours for a cracked polish effect. Use contrasting colours for the boldest looks.
